Terry nappies are an inexpensive cloth nappy available in cotton and bamboo terry in a number of colours and sizes. Various folds can be employed at different stages from birth to potty training. An outer waterproof wrap is required and Nappi Nippas are recommended to fasten the nappies.
Muslins can be used for newborn babies where they are changed often. Folds used for terry nappies can be used and a Nappi Nippa is recommended for fastening. Muslins can also be used as burping and cleaning cloths and commonly as comforters for older toddlers. An outer waterproof wrap is required.
Prefold nappies are a reasonably priced cloth nappy constructed of serveral layers of material with a thicker centre section available in cotton and bamboo terry. A pad fold is the most common but other folds can be employed under a tight fitting outer wrap. Nappi Nippas can be used to fasten the nappies if required.
